good choice for exploring tarrytown. we enjoyed everything, it was fantastic.
-
Worth its 4 stars. The staff was welcoming, the food was tasty. Enjoyed on-site restaurant Goosefeather. Hotel's clerk helped us a lot! The room was good sized and the furniture was comfortable.
-
Our favorite hotel in Tarrytown, staff was friendly. We truly enjoyed this place, it's lovely. Room had good choice of facilities, including coffee and TV set. Venue's outdoor pool is excellent too.
-
Event was at the hotel so staying right there at Tarrytown House was very convenient and comfortable.
They wouldn't honor the discount for the wedding party because I had booked with Booked.net. Not sure why this is.
-
Beautiful scenery, even with 4 weddings that weekend the place was never crowded. We enjoyed Quiet evening in Cellar 49 and an uninterrupted breakfast.
-
No robes in room, and plastic mattress coverage sleeping unpleasant .
-
A friend referred me to the "Tarrytown House" and I am glad I listened. Except for getting lost inside the hotel, I could not have asked for better accomodations away from home. We can't wait to go back.
-
It is sold as nice small hotel and it is a one building after the other the bad taste everywhere is superb you shouldn't advertise the hotel using those fraudulent pictures of a stone house really disappointing in every sense except for the friendly staff I would never go back and never ever recommend it
-
too spread out - hard to find anything and distinguish between the business conference designated places and ones for tourists
-
Great little bar & dining room; very well selected wine offerings by the glass & bottle, especially the local wines. Friendly, solicitous & efficient service very much appreciated. Beautiful grounds & great view. A wonderful weekend respite, hopefully to be repeated.
-
Clean room, efficient staff and check-in/check-out, ample parking, well maintained grounds, a lot of amenities
Room service is ridiculously over priced.
-
We had a lovely time at a wedding at the Tarrytown House Estate. The grounds are beautiful and the service was great.
-
I needed to check in super-early and the staff could not have been more sympathetic and accommodating!
Internet connection occasionally was spotty.
-
Nice carpet. Bed not covered with those dusty bolsters & cushions one sometimes finds.
Small, dark, gloomy room, tiny bathroom, maze of buildings & hallways, no elevators, few amenities
-
Clean, comfortable room. Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful and interesting grounds. Better for a longer, leisurely stay than for a quick, simple overnight.
No paper or pen/pencil in room. We could hear voices from outside the room (not loud), either from an adjoining room or from the hallway (I don't know which). Fortunately, they were masked by the fan of the air conditioner. Quite a long walk from reception to room. Expensive bottled water in room. Expensive breakfast.
